Aaahhh… The perfect blend of oolong and black teas. Golden Monkey is a rich, dark and malty black tea. It is created by picking only 1 leaf and 1 bud from each plant. While this is one of the highest quality black teas you can get, it’s flavor can be a bit overwhelming to the less defined tea palette. If you would like to mellow out you Golden Monkey, try adding some good Jasminetea. You will still get a rich dark tea, but now it will be accented with the spicy flavor of Jasmine. This makes a wonderful holiday tea.

These two teas produce a sweet caramel apple flavor and a deep orange color. This tea is naturally sweet. Even the young ones won’t need any sugar when drinking this. It combines the earthy flavor of African rooibos with the sweet taste of caramel and tangy apple.

This is a wonderful light green tea with a touch of blueberries. I mix equal amounts of these two teas. Then steep it quickly for 3 minutes. This tea will have the intricate flavors of a fine green tea with just a hint of berries. It becomes a very pale purple, and is great for the evening.

This is very subtle white tea that has been enjoyed for ages. Even with the unusually long steeping time for a white tea, Sang Yang brews to a very light yellow with an airy natural flavor. The taste is very similar to its green neighbor, dragon well.

Song Yang Serenade has been harvested and brewed in China since the Tang Dynasty. Around 618 - 907. If you have a delicate palette for teas, especially white teas, your sure to enjoy Song Yang Serenade.

One of the things I love about fruity herbal teas, is that they usually taste great both hot and cold. I make tea like this in pitchers, pour a glass and then put the rest in the fridge for later.

This is not only the best jasmine oolong tea I’ve ever tried, it’s also fun to watch. Each of these little balls is a piece of jasmine, hand wrapped with perfect oolong leaves. As this tea steaps, each ball slowly unravels and floats up like a small spider climbing to the top. Of all the jsamine teas I’ve tried, this one has the most jasmine flavor. As a hot tea, I could drink this everyday without growing tired of it. Ohh, that’s oolong good.

This tea was a great surprise. I never expected a tea that looks like this to taste so good. I had envisioned a much earthier green tea. Instead, I was greeted with a hearty mesquite flavor. Man… this is good. I’m going to have to get a larger container of this of. My sample tin won’t last long.
