Re-steep

This is an exceptional, dark, oolong tea! It has a great roasted flavor with a hint of roasted nuts. This is a perfect afternoon tea on a cool winters day.

When preparing this tea, re-steep it several times. I’ve found that their recommended 7 times produces and very nice, rich & smooth flavor.

Jing Tea’s High Mountain Dark Roast is picked Taiwan’s famous Tung Ting Mountain and is produced for us in very limited quantities at an award winning farm. Leaf intended for oolong production is allowed to mature longer than that of green and white teas because it has to withstand repeated rolling and firing.

Aaahhh… The perfect blend of oolong and black teas. Golden Monkey is a rich, dark and malty black tea. It is created by picking only 1 leaf and 1 bud from each plant. While this is one of the highest quality black teas you can get, it’s flavor can be a bit overwhelming to the less defined tea palette. If you would like to mellow out you Golden Monkey, try adding some good Jasminetea. You will still get a rich dark tea, but now it will be accented with the spicy flavor of Jasmine. This makes a wonderful holiday tea.

Formosa Oolong, the champagne of teas, has a dark chocolate color and brews up light and peachy. This tea is a great oolong to compliment seafoods. The aroma was so intoxicating, that I burnt my tongue trying to drink it too soon.

This is not only the best jasmine oolong tea I’ve ever tried, it’s also fun to watch. Each of these little balls is a piece of jasmine, hand wrapped with perfect oolong leaves. As this tea steaps, each ball slowly unravels and floats up like a small spider climbing to the top. Of all the jsamine teas I’ve tried, this one has the most jasmine flavor. As a hot tea, I could drink this everyday without growing tired of it. Ohh, that’s oolong good.

This is a pleasantly light oolong tea. This tea is good with seafood or just late at night. Oolong Symphony 18Adagios Oolong Symphony 18 is one of the lightest oolong teas that I’ve ever tasted. It isn’t bad, just very light. To flavor it up a little, I added some lemon grass. After it is steeped, this tea tea ends up a very pale yellow.
