Sassafras tea has an extremely strong smell. I could have swore it was soda the first time I smelled it. I wouldn’t have thought of it for tea, but it works well. The taste is mild and the tea is not bitter at all.

Keep your brewing time on this one to 5.5 minutes max. Anything more and the tea becomes mildly bitter.
