High Mountain Dark Roast
January 1st, 2006

Tea

1-3 minutes at 194°F (90°C)
Re-steep

This is an exceptional, dark, oolong tea! It has a great roasted flavor with a hint of roasted nuts. This is a perfect afternoon tea on a cool winters day.

When preparing this tea, re-steep it several times. I’ve found that their recommended 7 times produces and very nice, rich & smooth flavor.

Jing Tea’s High Mountain Dark Roast is picked Taiwan’s famous Tung Ting Mountain and is produced for us in very limited quantities at an award winning farm. Leaf intended for oolong production is allowed to mature longer than that of green and white teas because it has to withstand repeated rolling and firing.
