Similar to what you might find in any Chinese restaurant, Jasmine tea is typically a type of Oolong
. In this case, the Oolong
has is mild spicy taste of Jasmine
. If you like oolongs, your sure to enjoy the many varieties of Jasmine
tea.
Another thing to keep in mind with jasmine tea, is that it is great for cooking. Brew a strong glass of jasmine tea, then use it in place of water in nearly any recipe. The other way you can use it for cooking is to to grind it up, then use the powder as a spice. This is great for ice, cakes, cookies and much much more.
